Vigo County Public Library
The online collection of the Vigo County Public Library consists of archival materials from the library's Community Archives and Special Collections department. The collection's focus is to document the various historical aspects of Terre Haute and the Wabash Valley.
Digitized books and pamphlets make up the core of the collection with such items depicting histories of Vigo County and Terre Haute, pictorial histories, school publications, specialized materials in African-American and women's history, and pamphlets documenting local institutions and organizations.
Rounding out the reminder of the collection are oral history transcripts, photographs, Civil War letters and transcripts, and other materials recording the area's history.
