O Miners Awake -- Indiana State University Library
The Indiana State University Library Collection contains oral histories conducted by project staff in 2006-2007. The interviews document the experience of Indiana coal miners, members of coal mining families, and industry owners and operators in Sullivan, Vermillion, and Vigo Counties. The oral histories were recorded as audio and/or video depending upon the preference of the interviewee. Long files have been divided into segments to facilitate access.
